TWIN FLAME 

When the two goddesses of creation and destruction come together in an unrelenting battle, they discover strength in unity.

Creation and destruction are pulled together by two goddesses at war. Out of their duel comes transformation. Twin Flame is an ode to the death of the Ego, and the realisation that despite their differences; these women cannot exist without each other.

​

With rich imagery, the film will deconstruct what it means to embrace and/or reject feminine archetypes, focusing on toxic parent/child relationships, and bringing a sense of modernity to an ancient form of storytelling.

The entire story will be told through Indian Classical dance (Kathak), Abhinaya, Physical theatre and contemporary movement. A soundtrack composed by world renowned musicians Parvyn Singh, Josh Bennet and Jay Dabgar will accompany us through the duration of the film. 

 

Our story focuses on two women inspired by the Hindu Goddesses Kali and Parvati.
